Jewel woke up and it finally dawned on her,the golden light,the blessing of a lifetime. She was old enough to go on her own Pokmon journey! She quickly changed her clothes and flew downstairs where her father was reading the paper and her Mother preparing breakfast.
Her father glanced up and annoyed at the extreme speed said,"easy there,Ju! You'll reach the bus-stop in time". She lived in the middle of a forest,working in her parents ranch so she naturally got along with Pokmon. As she finished an enormous breakfast,he wondered which Pokmon she would recieve.
She picked her empty, except for some Pokmon food,water and her own food, bag and set on the trail wearing her running shoes. She picked her way carefully through the thick forest when she suddenly saw her good friend, Starly. It had been injured when she rescued it and nursed it back to health.
Jewel looked as pleased as the small yet uncommonly fuzzy bird and,after offering some synthetic berry juice prepared by her mother and some Pokmon food,set off again.
When she was just a child,hearing the stories of legendaries filled her heart with respect for them and warmed especially towards Absol,the mighty ice Pokmon. Legendary or not,it was definately on her favourites list. The list consisted of Lucario, Pichu, Milotic, Absol, Ninetails and Mew. As she approached the city,she stopped dreaming and tried to remember the bus which would take her to the laboratory.
